Collection: Farm Fresh Eggs

Real eggs from a real farm — pasture-raised, locally sourced, and available for next-day delivery throughout the Twin Cities metro.

At Bloomington Farm & Feed, our eggs come from a small Minnesota farm where hens have access to pasture, fresh air, and clean feed. No factory farming. No mystery sourcing. Just fresh eggs from birds that are raised the right way, delivered to your door or available for pickup.

We carry chicken eggs by the dozen. Check current listings below for availability.

Farm Fresh Egg FAQs

What makes pasture-raised eggs different from store-bought?
Pasture-raised hens spend their days outdoors foraging for insects, grasses, and plants — a diet that directly affects the nutritional profile and flavor of their eggs. Studies show pasture-raised eggs have higher levels of Omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, and beta-carotene compared to conventional eggs. The difference is visible in the yolk: deeper orange color, richer flavor, and a firmer white.

How fresh are your eggs?
Our eggs are sourced locally from our Minnesota farm and turned over regularly — you're not getting eggs that have sat in a warehouse for weeks. Farm fresh eggs stored unwashed can last 2–3 weeks at room temperature or up to 3 months refrigerated. We recommend refrigerating once you get them home.

Are your eggs washed?
Farm fresh eggs have a natural protective coating called the bloom (or cuticle) that seals the shell and extends shelf life. Unwashed eggs retain this bloom and can be stored at room temperature. If eggs are washed before sale, they must be refrigerated. Check individual product listings for details on washing and storage recommendations.
