Shipping policy
1. Introduction
Bloomington Farm and Feed is committed to providing exceptional service and convenience to our customers. Our local delivery policy is designed to ensure a smooth, efficient, and timely delivery of our products to your doorstep. This policy applies to all orders placed with us for delivery within and outside our local delivery area.
2. Local Delivery Area
Our local delivery service is available to customers within a 20-mile radius of our primary business location in Bloomington, Minnesota. Deliveries within this area are subject to our standard delivery charges and terms.
While our system settings may allow up to 30 miles for certain situations, our official delivery policy covers a 20-mile service radius, as the crow flies.
3. Delivery Charges for Next-Day Delivery
The below charges are simply to cover gas a maintenance of our delivery vehicles. Orders over $75.00 (pretax) qualify for free delivery for local delivery only.
Within 10-Mile Radius: A flat delivery fee of $5.00 will be applied to all orders delivered within 10 miles from Bloomington, MN.
11–15 Miles from Bloomington, MN: A flat delivery fee of $8.00 will be applied to all orders delivered within this range. A $15.00 minimum order is required.
16–20 Miles from Bloomington, MN: A flat delivery fee of $10.00 will be applied to all orders delivered within this range. A $15.00 minimum order is required.
Outside 20-Mile Radius: We now provide standard shipping for anyone who is outside of our local delivery zone with regular shipping typically received in 3-5 business days.
Should a special situation occur where you are outside of our delivery area and need to pick up, please email us at info@bloomingtonfarmandfeed.com to discuss those options.
4. Delivery Schedule
Deliveries are made from Monday through Saturday. We take Sundays as a day of rest for both our team and our flocks.
We strive to have next-day delivery for our customers on all orders placed before 9 PM the night before, though this may not always be possible. Orders placed on Saturday will be delivered on Monday.
In some instances, we may even be able to deliver local orders on the same day if we are already heading near your location, as part of our daily route. Our goal is to make backyard farming more convenient for you, rain or shine.
5. Ordering and Payment
Orders for local delivery can be placed via our website at BloomingtonFarmAndFeed.com. Full payment, including delivery charges, is required at the time of order placement. We accept the most common forms of payment.
